As part of the Universal Church and Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, we the people of St. Jude Catholic Community (Est. 1968) strive to become a faith of faith. Out of fidelity to God’s call to us in Baptism, we accept with humility our role as disciples of Jesus Christ by following His commandments. We pray as individuals and together under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and participate in the sacraments, which inspire us to teach, build community and serve one another.
We recognize our individual and community responsibilities to the Beatitudes. Therefore we seek to imitate the Mercy and Justice of Christ by humbly sharing with those in need, our family, our neighborhood, our community, and our world. We work toward the unity of all Christians as we witness the wisdom, beauty and power of the Word of God as revealed in Sacred Scripture.
We proclaim Good News to all we meet by our love, word and example through the intercession of our Patron, St. Jude and the power of the Holy Spirit.
St. Jude, Patron of the Impossible, Pray for us.
